Alternatively, there is a more economical option to fly to Surat Thani and then take a bus and a ferry to Koh Samui, but this journey takes around 3 hours. From Koh Samui airport, a taxi to the resort takes approximately 15 minutes, or a pick-up service can be arranged for an extra fee.
